Corporate

As a highly experienced tv producer of some 30 years standing, I can bring a professional gloss to corporate projects.

I can undertake or oversee all aspects of production, from planning, through shooting, to editing, graphics and delivery.

Past projects include Suzuki Outboards and Landrover.

I am currently helping a number of travel companies to introduce video to their websites.

Together with a former BBC colleague - Michele Romaine - I have set up FoodZooSW - offering affordable videos to companies in the food, drink and hospitality industries.

I have also been making promotional videos for two local charities - North Devon Hospice and The Plough Arts Centre.

...Martin Pailthorpe, a well-known adventure

travel and wildlife tv director/producer, has re-mastered and improved all our existing films. He has also created some really inspiring new videos, so take a look and you’ll see for yourself why we are so excited

about our new videos.

FoodZooSW - the aim behind FoodZooSW is to provide videos for online and promotional use to local businesses. We have made over 30 videos so far, showcasing local chefs (we helped to promote Michelin-starred Mark Dodson's new book, and interviewed him along with his mentor Michel Roux at the book launch) and producers (we provided on-the-day coverage from the Exeter festival of Food and Drink). For more information, visit our website.

FooZooSW

Plough Arts Centre - I have made a number of films for the Plough - from fund raising pitches to videos that promote their youth outreach programme and upcoming exhibitions. My own favorite is this film that I made with Michael Storrs - a musicians' agent turned ceramicist. His wry and self-deprecating sense of humour helped in understanding his work.

My contributions to the Plough led to being shortlisted for a national prize for philanthropy.

You can see more of my films on the Plough Facebook Video page

Plough Arts

North Devon Hospice- for the past two years I have filmed and produced a highlights video of the Hospice's hugely popular `Mission : Unbreakable' - a 10k commando challenge on the edge of Exmoor. the 2017 film got nearly 10,000 views on the Hospice Facebook feed

North Devon Hospice

Landrover - in 2015, Canadian adventurer Brett Anderson won a Landrover competition with a sensational prize - to follow South Africa's Sardine Run in a fleet of Landrovers, and dive on the shark feeding frenzies that follow the sardine migration. As part of the prize, Brett and the three friends he nominated to accompany him underwent a training weekend in Dartmouth, run by Landrover ambassador and expedition leader Monty Halls. My job was to document the weekend and produce a video that could be used for publicity ahead of the expedition itself.

Suzuki Marine

Suzuki - as part of a Suzuki Marine campaign to promote their outboard engines online, I produced and edited six videos (including simple graphics) - one for each of the main categories of engines, from the harbour-hugging 2.5HP, to the offshore 300HP.

Travel Companies

Travel Companies - in 2015/2016 I produced over 30 videos for the travel company Mountain Kingdoms to help boost their online presence. In most cases, this involved working with existing video (either sourced from partner organisations, or specially shot on recces), but I also filmed a number of specific interviews with MD Steve Berry and Operations Manager Jim Davies to help create content that would really stand out and help to encapsulate the `personality' of the company. This also involved branding the videos in a way that would be instantly recognisable - by use of corporate logos onscreen, and replicating website fonts and colours to create a `seamless' experience for anyone watching the videos on the website.
