Body Invaders was a six-part series looking at the stories and science behind  impalations.

 

They included the story of Margaret Wegener, an East German woman who suffered blinding headaches as a teenager.

 

After unification, she was examined by a doctor who found that the condition dated back to a childhood accident.

 

We needed to film a reconstruction with a willing five year old - enter my daughter Katie!
